In an ever more challenging and stress filled world, there are times when we become overwhelmed and struggle to cope with the day to day challenges that life can throw our way. Luxembourg Counselling & Therapy uses a combination of Person Centred, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy to help clients deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, work stress and relationship issues.
Luxembourg Counselling & Therapy offers clients a safe, confidential and non-judgemental place to work through negative feelings and emotions as you work together towards relieving emotional pain and stress.
Sam Steen is originally from Ireland but has been living in Luxembourg for the past ten years.
With a background in broadcasting and media, Sam decided to make the move in to counselling and therapy thanks to his own experiences and personal development in therapy. A desire to learn more about the methods that had helped him and in turn, work to help others led to Certificates in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and continuing studies in Person Centred Therapy.

What To Expect
Your first session will involve meeting your therapist, learning the terms of your therapeutic relationship, and after that, the time is yours. Discuss the issues that bother you, the problems you are dealing with and what you wish to achieve through your time in therapy.
Your therapist is there to help you, hear you and be there for you in a non-judgemental way. Most importantly, he is there to work WITH you. The more you put in to your therapy, the quicker you will feel the benefits.
